(Version January 2020) I finished school in Rosenheim in Bavaria in 2007. In the same year, I moved to Vienna and have been living there ever since.
Since 2009 at the latest, I have been involved in the study representation, I have been three times elected, and was member of countless Habilcommissions and was most of the time an active member in the study- and faculty-conference
Starting with 2010 I have been very interested in instant photography. The highlight there was the work and the talks for The Impossible Project, now again Polaroid, as well as my first self-made modified Polaroid camera (a 110a).
With the birth of my son in 2011, everyday life at the university had slowed down a bit for some time. With Isaak I spend a lot of time in parks, playgrounds or reading comics. We build a lot of Lego, finally I can have all the LegoSets I always wanted :) For some time now he also got interested in photography and we'll see where's that heading.

I like to ride my old racing bike, a Motocabane, but somehow it's always broken. I love the second district where I moved to some years ago and see the danube channel and the Augarten as my extended living room. After the first lockdown in 2020 I started bouldering (again), Isaak and many of his school-friends join me regularly. If I don't have to check on them falling from the walls I currently climb 6C and Isaak climbs 6A.

Due to corona you occasionally could find me bouldering in the countryside or with my colleagues of the math department at the bouldering spot at danube channel.

I am a big fan of (football) statistics and thanks to Quirin Söhnlein, I was given the opportunity to give a lecture on player rating systems for Austria Wien. With Quirin I often philosophize about the interface football/fitness training/mathematics and who knows, maybe you will find both of us some time on this homepage under Research.
